Questions & Answers

Before you enter your room, there’s an brief orientation. We explain a few rules and tell you the backstory of your room and what you’re trying to do. (Put a ghost to rest, save the world, catch a killer clown – just normal stuff.) You have just 60 minutes to find the clues that solve the mystery and unlock the door to xscape!

What time should we get there?

You need to be there 15 minutes before you’re scheduled to enter the room. No one can participate unless they go through the orientation.  And once the group enters the room – no one else can join. Please be on time – we hate seeing anyone left out!

What if we need a clue?

If you get stuck, you can request some help. But make sure you look around first. Sometimes one clue leads to another. Only ask for help when you really need it – there’s a limited number of clues that will be provided.

Are tickets refundable?

No. Tickets are non-refundable but a credit for 30 days will be honored

Do you do birthday parties?

Bring it! We do private parties all the time. Xscape Factor is the ultimate spot for a surprise party.  Family reunions, graduation parties, squad get-togethers. (FYI – you can give a ticket as a gift. Buy it here.) Rent the room and you’re good to go. Get the details here.

I heard you do team building?

We offer a unique, memorable experience for small business, non-profits, municipalities or corporations. This is problem solving like you’ve never seen it before. Build rapport, identify skills, encourage collaboration.  All while sharing a fun and challenging experience. You can get started here.

Are we really locked in the room?

In theory yes….it’s up to you and your group to escape in time. There is a way to leave the room if you have to, but once you do, you can’t come back in.  That leaves your group short-handed….will they be able to escape without you?

How many people can be in room?

It depends on the room.  The Al Capone room is for small groups – 6 people. It’s also the most challenging room we have. The other three rooms can all hold up to 8 people.  Check out the rooms here.

What if We don't have a big group?

This is perfect for date night, so don’t worry if it’s just the two of you.  Book your room and we’ll add on to fill it up. If you want to book at private room for a smaller group – you can do that too. On Mon, Wed, Thurs, a private room is $130.00. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, a private room is $185. Give us a call at (910) 676-8926

Can we bring our kids?

These games are designed for adults and recommended for ages 12 and up – some younger children might find it to be too difficult, as the clues are created to challenge the players!

  • Children 12 years and younger aren’t permitted unless it’s a private room booking for your group only.
  •  Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a release of liability waiver. This waiver will be provided at check in.
Can I record this on my cell phone?

No, sorry. Cell phones aren’t allowed in the room. They are collected before you enter and returned when you leave. PS: Yes, we will know if you try to sneak in your phone.

Are there places to eat nearby?

Downtown Fayetteville is gorgeous! There are tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, wine shops and craft breweries. If you’ve never been downtown, this is the place to be!.
